DUPA

DUPA

Diffuse, Unpatterned Alopecia

'DUPA' is a diffuse form of hereditary hair loss that does not follow the usual pattern but occurs all over the head. It often affects the area at the lower back of the head, which is otherwise commonly used as a donor area for hair transplants. Due to this widespread hair loss, people with DUPA are generally not suitable candidates for a hair transplant.
