Tonsure

A tonsure is characterised by a ring of hair surrounding a bald crown on the head, where the back is bald or significantly thinned, while the sides, nape, and top retain normal hair. Similar to a receding hairline, a tonsure is the typical development of androgenetic alopecia (hereditary hair loss).
